Sistema Scotland
The charity Sistema Scotland aims to transform the lives of children and their communities through music. Its first orchestra, Big Noise, was established in Raploch, Stirling in 2008 and further centres are planned. The work is closely based on Venezuela's El Sistema movement which uses the symphony orchestra as an engine for social change.
