Musicmatters Music School
Musicmatters is an institute dedicated to nurturing creativity through music education. With a vision of increasing music appreciation in Sri Lanka over the next generation, Musicmatters offers training in a broad range of genres including Western classical, jazz, rock, pop, Indian classical and Sri Lankan traditional music.
Our courses aim to develop students' musical potential along with creativity, imagination, personal development, social skills and lateral thinking. To achieve this end, we offer a combination of instrument tuition, music theory instruction, and group performance opportunities. Musicmatters also serves as a nexus for professional musicians - promoting improvisation, experimentation and innovation.
